Established in 2016, the RRT Theatre League Awards were created to recognize outstanding student contributions, on and off-stage in our local high school theatre programs. Open to all high schools in the Midland Empire, the purpose of the awards program is to cultivate a life-long love of theatre amongst high school students and promote RRT as a viable and attractive outlet for high school students.
RRT Adjudicators will provide feedback about the production and along with input from the director, will select awards for Outstanding Actor/Actress and Outstanding Technical Artist.
The awards are presented to the students during an awards ceremony at school. The students will also be recognized at the opening night of the RRT Mainstage summer production.
